About the Owner

Brady Paselk, the “BP” in BP Trees, began trimming trees back in 2005 while attending school in Tulsa at ORU. His future father-in-law employed him to do some basic property clean up and firewood processing. That side job eventually evolved into the business that it is today. Brady’s love for the outdoors combined with his drive to provide for his family led him to officially start BP Trees, LLC in 2013. Brady and Heidi got married in 2017 and have two children, Elly and Deklin. The family lives, works and attends school in Bixby.

In 2021 Brady discovered that there were tree climbing competitions.  This was a pivotal moment, as it changed the entire safety culture and trajectory of his career and the business.  After 30 or so comps and three years later Brady accomplished his major goal of winning his region (Midwest ISA – Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma).  This allowed him to cross off two more bucket list items, competing at the North American Championship and representing Team USA on the world stage at the ISA International Tree Climbing Competition 2024.

About BP Trees, LLC

BP Trees, LLC is an Oklahoma based company specializing in tree services such as tree removal and tree trimming.  We have developed a niche skillset in machine assisted removals. We utilize machines in many capacities in order to streamline production, increase team member safety, and hopefully extend our careers by letting the machines do all the heavy lifting.  Due to this special skillset, BP is often hired by other companies in town to help assist them with their large projects.  We enjoy collaborating with other tree people, affectionately referred to as “Treeple”.  We prefer to view other companies as brothers in the same family rather than competitors.

Oklahoma Rescue

OK Rescue is an annual competition style training event for tree climbers.  This event was started by Jesse Taylor and Brady Paselk in 2021.  The event was intended to help local tree climbers develop the skills and awareness needed for rescue scenarios in the tree.  It has ultimately drawn people in from almost every US state and Canada.  Some people come to hone their skills for upcoming competitions, but the heart of the event remains the same.  Hopefully, this will save someone’s life either by preventing an accident or equipping people to be able to rescue their coworker in the event of an accident at height.  More information can be found on Oklahoma Rescue’s Facebook Page.

Media Appearances

Bp Trees and owner Brady have both been featured on tv shows, news broadcasts and in various other videos and publications through the years.  We appear in three episodes of HGTV’s “Flipping the Heartland”.  Most of our news appearances happen after natural disasters when trees are on houses, and we are there helping people just try to get power back to their neighborhood or property.  Various articles and video clips from the climbing competitions can be searched and found typically on a web browser.  Also, each year we are on news stations for the annual rescue training.  Many of these clips and articles can be found at TulsaWorld.com.
